Connecticut High School Basketball - Mercy can't hold off Holy Cross
December 11, 2023: Waterbury, CT 06708 The Holy Cross Crusaders basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Mercy Tigers to 53 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Monday.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Regional for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Kolbe-Cathedral edged Hillhouse (New Haven, CT), 62-33, in a non-league contest.
