South Carolina High School Basketball - Horse Creek Academy edges Wardlaw Academy
December 11, 2023: Aiken, SC 29803 The Horse Creek Academy Stallions (Aiken, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC), 44-43 in Monday's non-league test.
The Stallions (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Williston-Elko was edged by Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC), 59-31, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Cambridge Academy Cougars (Greenwood, SC) in a SCISA A Region IV challenge, on Friday, January 5. Wardlaw Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
