Iowa High School Basketball - Keokuk overwhelms West Hancock
December 11, 2023: Keokuk, IA 52632 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) and the visiting West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA), saw Keokuk's basketball squad wallop West Hancock by a tally of 73-40.
With the victory, Keokuk improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, IA) to confront the Trojans in a Southeast challenge on Friday, December 15. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Fairfield lost 61-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA) in a North Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. West Hancock will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 67-34 league loss to Forest City (Forest City, IA).
