Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ), 33-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mingus upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Titans play the Estrella Foothills Wolves (Goodyear, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Thunderbird will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 58-38 non-league win over Youngker (Buckeye, AZ).
