December 11, 2023: Laurel, MS 39440 Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Tornadoes confront the Gautier Gators (Gautier, MS) in a 5A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Laurel will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to East Central (Moss Point, MS).
The Aggies now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Bogue Chitto for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. Forrest County Agricultural will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-4.
