December 11, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23322 In Monday's non-league outing, the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) basketball squad beat the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), by a count of 68-50.
The Mighty Bookers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Norcom was topped by Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 66-46, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Currituck County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 13. Great Bridge will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 41-37 league loss to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
