North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston topped by Cherryville
December 11, 2023: Dallas, NC 28034 The Cherryville Ironmen basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host North Gaston Wildcats to 41 in the Ironmen non-league victory on Monday.
The Ironmen now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincolnton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Cherryville will battle a Wolves team coming off a 52-51 non-league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 1-2.
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Huss prevailed over Hickory (Hickory, NC), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
