December 11, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90022 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Robert F. Kennedy Community Bobcats (Los Angeles, CA), saw Garfield's basketball squad hold off Robert F. Kennedy Community by a tally of 55-54.
With the victory, Garfield improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Marquez (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Marquez won 47-46 in their recent non-league battle against Buena Park (Buena Park, CA)
The Bobcats (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars come into the battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Mendez was nudged by Wilson (Los Angeles, CA), 66-39, in a non-league battle.
