Virginia High School Basketball - Sherando toppled by Central Woodstock
December 11, 2024: Woodstock, VA 22664 Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), 55-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Central Woodstock advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Falcons travel to Riverheads (Staunton, VA) to face the Gladiators in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Gladiators enter the battle with a record of 3-3. Riverheads lost 50-41 in their recent non-league battle against Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA)
The Warriors now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Wood for a Northwestern battle on Friday, December 13. Sherando will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 54-45 non-league loss to Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-3.
