Michigan High School Basketball - Ecorse trounced by Pershing
December 11, 2024: Detroit, MI 48234 Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Ecorse Raiders (Ecorse, MI), 67-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pershing advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Doughboys host Western International (Detroit, MI) to face the Cowboys in a Detroit Public I match on Friday, December 13. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 1-3.
The Raiders now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denby for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. Ecorse will face a Tars squad coming off a 82-35 non-league loss to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI). The Tars record now stands at 5-1.
