California High School Basketball - Poly sneaks past El Segundo
December 11, 2024: El Segundo, CA 90245 The Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) basketball edged the host El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA), 45-40 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to King for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. Poly will play a Wolves team coming off a 60-56 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, El Segundo falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Torrance (Torrance, CA) to play the Tartars in a Pioneer bout on Wednesday, December 18. The Tartars go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Torrance won 63-61 in their recent non-league bout against St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA)
