California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton thwarts King's Academy
December 11, 2024: Atherton, CA 94027 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) and the visiting King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA), observed Menlo-Atherton's basketball team knock off King's Academy by a score of 67-47.
The Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Menlo School was knocked off by Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA), 68-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. King's Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 55-27 non-league loss to Milpitas (Milpitas, CA).
