Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 55-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ledford advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Panthers host West Davidson (Lexington, NC) to meet the Dragons in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 1-6. West Davidson lost 68-20 in their recent league match against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC)

The Mustangs now hold a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Forsyth for a 4A Central Piedmont test on Friday, December 13. Parkland will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 82-59 non-league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.
