New Mexico High School Basketball - Sandia Prep trounced by St. Pius X
December 11, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87120 St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), 65-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Pius X advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Sartans host Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-0. Navajo Prep won 73-43 in their recent non-league match against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM)
The Sundevils now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Las Vegas for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Sandia Prep will meet a Dons squad coming off a 77-67 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Dons record now stands at 4-1.
