December 11, 2024: Daly City, CA 94015 Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Aragon Dons (San Mateo, CA), 59-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Summit Shasta advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Black Bears host Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to face the Fightin' Irish in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Fightin' Irish enter the match with a record of 2-0. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory won 38-33 in their recent non-league match against Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA)
The Dons now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menlo School for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Aragon will face a Knights squad coming off a 57-29 non-league loss to Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
