December 11, 2024: Rochelle, IL 61068 Rochelle Hubs (Rochelle, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), 58-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rochelle upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hubs host Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Knights enter the match with a record of 1-0. Kaneland won 53-36 in their recent non-league match against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)
The Cogs now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Falls for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8.
