In Wednesday's non-league test, the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC), by a score of 66-31.

Next, the Rockets clash with the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain test, on Tuesday, December 17. A.C. Reynolds will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record.

The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats come into the 3A Big South test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, North Gaston bounced Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC), 40-34, in a non-league test.
