In Wednesday's league contest, the host Anacostia Indians basketball team scored a close 54-52 triumph over the Ballou Knights.

The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern (Washington, DC). The Ramblers go into the DCSAA contest with a 2-3 record.

In their next game, the Knights battle the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA contest, on Monday, December 16. Ballou will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Penguins go into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 48-43 league loss to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC).
