December 11, 2024: Chesapeake, OH 45619 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) and the visiting Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), observed Chesapeake's basketball team overwhelm Fairview by a score of 75-15.
The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Point (South Point, OH). The Pointers come into the Ohio Valley challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, South Point trounced Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH), 49-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a District 64 challenge, on Friday, December 13. Fairview will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Tomcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 57-29 non-league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH).
