December 11, 2024: Metairie, LA 70006 The Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) basketball were winner over the host Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA), 46-29 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host St. Katharine Drexel for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Varnado will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 67-23 non-league loss to Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Crescent City Christian falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers host West St. John (Edgard, LA) to play the Rams in a 1A District 10 bout on Thursday, December 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-5.
