December 11, 2024: Newport, OR 97365 The Elmira Falcons basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Newport Cubs to 32 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Linn Christian Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17.
With the loss, Newport falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Junction City (Junction City, OR) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Junction City lost 45-19 in their recent non-league game against Philomath (Philomath, OR)
