Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Southern Bulldogs (Harwood, MD), 41-29 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Great Mills advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-2. Colonial Forge won 45-40 in their recent league match against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Creek for a non-league match on Monday, December 16. Southern will face a Eagles squad coming off a 64-42 non-league loss to Broadneck (Annapolis, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
