In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Napoleon Pirates basketball team scored a close 34-31 triumph over the Homer Trojans.

The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Reading Rangers (Reading, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Homer will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
