Utah High School Basketball - Payson triumphant over Juab
December 11, 2024: Nephi, UT 84648 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) and the host Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT), observed Payson's basketball team overwhelm Juab by a margin of 78-40.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Salem Hills trounced Northridge (Layton, UT), 77-65, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wasps battle the Carbon Dinos (Price, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Juab will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
