December 11, 2024: Cerro Gordo, NC 28430 West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 32-21 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Bladen advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Knights travel to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 3-1. Farmville Central lost 59-40 in their recent non-league match against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)
The Vikings now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Columbus for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 12. West Columbus will meet a Stallions squad coming off a 31-28 non-league win over Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 2-2.
