December 11, 2025: Gail, TX 79738 The New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) basketball toppled the host Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX), 72-56 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Roscoe for a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. New Deal will play a Plowboys team coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Frenship Memorial (Lubbock, TX). The Plowboys record now stands at 11-0.
With the loss, Borden County falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Ira (Ira, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 6-3. Ira lost 70-69 in their recent non-league battle against Sands (Ackerly, TX)
