The Eastern Mennonite Flames nudged the host Carlisle Chiefs basketball team by a tally of 63-57 in Thursday's league game.

The Flames now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to The Covenant School for a VISAA Division II game on Wednesday, December 17. Eastern Mennonite will confront a Eagles team coming off a 89-25 league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

The Chiefs (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA). The Conquerors enter the non-league outing with a 4-3 record.
