The Castleford Wolves basketball squad (Castleford, ID), was nudged 58-52 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Sun Valley Community Cutthroats (Sun Valley, ID)

With the victory, Sun Valley Community advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Cutthroats host Valley (Hazelton, ID) to meet the Vikings in a 2A Snake River battle on Wednesday, December 17. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Valley won 43-26 in their recent league battle against Hagerman (Hagerman, ID)

The Wolves now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 19.
