December 11, 2025: Covington, TX 76636 The Covington Owls basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Hubbard Jaguars to 36 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Owls now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Penelope for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. Covington will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 46-17 non-league loss to Gholson (Waco, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Hubbard moves to 2-8 on the season. The Jaguars host Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16.
