Texas High School Basketball - Marshall holds off Daingerfield
December 11, 2025: Daingerfield, TX 75638 The Marshall Mavericks basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Daingerfield Tigers to 34 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mavericks now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to New Boston for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Marshall will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 49-42 non-league win over Winona (Winona, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-2.
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Clarksville (Clarksville, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Clarksville got by Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX), 64-44, in a non-league outing.
