In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sage Ridge Scorpions basketball squad scored a decisive 50-25 victory over the Debbie Smith CTE Academy Mavericks.

With the victory, Sage Ridge upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Scorpions travel to Yerington (Yerington, NV) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, December 12. The Lions enter the match with a record of 5-2. Yerington won 65-47 in their recent league match against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA)

The Mavericks now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Elko for a non-league contest on Friday, December 19. Debbie Smith CTE Academy will confront a Indians team coming off a 70-26 non-league win over Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Indians record now stands at 3-2.
