Oklahoma High School Basketball - Ferris routed by Newcastle
December 11, 2025: Newcastle, OK 73065 Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) backers were thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team bounce the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX), 77-31 in a non-league game.
The Racers now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host MacArthur for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Newcastle will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Ferris falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Eisenhower (Lawton, OK) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 12. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-1.
