Texas High School Basketball - Frenship Memorial can't hold off Roscoe
December 11, 2025: Roscoe, TX 79545 Roscoe Plowboys (Roscoe, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Frenship Memorial Panthers (Lubbock, TX), 60-57 in a non-league game.
The Plowboys now have a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to New Deal for a non-league game on Friday, December 12. Roscoe will confront a Lions team coming off a 72-56 non-league win over Borden County (Gail, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, Frenship Memorial drops to 6-6 on the year. The Panthers host Randall (Amarillo, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16. The Raiders enter the outing with a record of 1-11. Randall lost 59-50 in their recent non-league game against Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX)
