December 11, 2025: Haughton, LA 71037 The Haughton Buccaneers basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting West Ouachita Chiefs to 52 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Buccaneers now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bastrop for a non-league game on Monday, December 15. Haughton will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to Union Parish (Farmerville, LA). The Rams record now stands at 4-5.
The Chiefs (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Sterlington overcame Delhi (Delhi, LA), 70-47, in a non-league bout.
