The Weldon Valley Warriors basketball squad scored 55 points and held the host Kit Carson Wildcats to 39 in the Warriors non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Mile High Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 8. Weldon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 46-29 non-league win over Ascent Classical Academy (Lone Tree, CO).

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Miami-Yoder (Rush, CO). The Buffaloes enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Miami-Yoder toppled Monument Academy (Monument, CO), 41-32, in a non-league game.
