The Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL) basketball edged the host Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL), 47-41 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Lions (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Cities (East Point, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Tri-Cities edged Shiloh (Snellville, GA), 69-26, in a league challenge.
