The Reserve Mountaineers basketball team (Reserve, NM), was routed 81-45 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM)

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cliff (Cliff, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Cliff trounced Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM), 59-52, in a non-league challenge.
