In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Weston Ranch Cougars basketball team scored a close 67-66 win over the San Ramon Valley Wolves.

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Franklin edged Lodi (Lodi, CA), 73-60, in a non-league match.

The Wolves now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lodi for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. San Ramon Valley will face a Flames squad coming off a 64-53 non-league loss to Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Flames record now stands at 3-4.
