December 11, 2025: Ironwood, MI 49938 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wright Red Devils (Ironwood, MI) and the visiting Watersmeet Nimrods (Watersmeet, MI), observed Wright's basketball team overwhelm Watersmeet by a margin of 59-35.
The Red Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Houghton walloped West Iron County (Iron River, MI), 80-47, in a league battle.
The Nimrods now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bessemer for a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. Watersmeet will meet a Speedboys squad coming off a 51-47 league loss to Wakefield (Wakefield, MI). The Speedboys record now stands at 2-1.
