South Carolina High School Basketball - Catawba Ridge toppled by Chapin
December 11, 2025: Chapin, SC 29036 Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) backers were thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), 40-30 in a non-league game.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 13.
With the loss, Catawba Ridge falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Copperheads host Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a game on Friday, December 19. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 3-0. Fort Mill won 60-17 in their recent non-league outing against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC)
