New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup can't hold off Grants
December 11, 2025: Gallup, NM 87301 Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) backers were thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), 57-53 in a non-league game.
The Pirates now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Zuni for a non-league game on Friday, December 19.
With the loss, Gallup falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league outing on Monday, December 15. The Eagles enter the outing with a record of 1-1.
