December 11, 2025: Minneapolis, KS 67467 In Thursday's non-league bout, the Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS) basketball team edged the visiting Bennington Bulldogs (Bennington, KS), by a tally of 61-59.
The Lions now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Ellsworth for a North Central AA bout on Tuesday, December 16. Minneapolis will play a Bearcats team coming off a 42-34 non-league win over Central Plains (Claflin, KS). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-0.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Cardinals come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Ell-Saline was nipped by Republic County (Belleville, KS), 45-32, in a non-league test.
