December 11, 2025: Minneapolis, MN 55403 West Lutheran Warriors (Plymouth, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Blake Bears (Minneapolis, MN), 75-72 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Lutheran advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Heritage Christian Academy (Maple Grove, MN) to confront the Eagles in a A Section 4 contest on Friday, December 12. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-1. Heritage Christian Academy lost 54-40 in their recent non-league match against St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN)
The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dassel-Cokato for a AA Section 5 match on Saturday, December 13. Blake will face a Chargers squad coming off a 61-38 non-league loss to Foley (Foley, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 1-2.
