Minnesota High School Basketball - Blooming Prairie holds off Pine Island
December 11, 2025: Blooming Prairie, MN 55917 The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Pine Island Panthers to 56 in the Awesome Blossoms non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Awesome Blossoms now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Fillmore Central for a A Section 1 game on Saturday, December 13. Blooming Prairie will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 68-44 non-league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Triton (Dodge Center, MN). The Cobras enter the AA Section 1 outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Triton got by Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN), 78-58, in a non-league outing.
