The Mountainair Mustangs basketball squad (Mountainair, NM), was crushed 59-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM)

With the victory, Cliff advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Cowboys/Cowgirls travel to Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to meet the Mavericks in a non-league battle on Friday, December 12. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Lordsburg won 56-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 16.
