Arizona High School Basketball - Combs holds off Coronado

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Combs Coyotes basketball team scored a close 35-29 triumph over the Coronado Dons.

With the victory, Combs upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to face the Demons in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Demons enter the match with a record of 4-3. Dysart won 52-34 in their recent non-league match against Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ)

The Dons now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saguaro for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Coronado will face a Sabercats team coming off a 63-16 non-league loss to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 0-10.
