In Thursday's league contest, the host Front Royal HomeSchool Flames basketball team scored a close 40-38 win over the Harrisonburg HomeSchool Lightning.
The Flames (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Loudoun County HomeSchool (Lovettsville, VA). The Patriots enter the Virginia HomeSchool match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Loudoun County HomeSchool was nudged by Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA), 53-34, in a league match.
The Lightning now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loudoun County HomeSchool for a Virginia HomeSchool match on Saturday, December 20.
