Texas High School Basketball - Reagan County edged by Garden City
December 11, 2025: Garden City, TX 79739 The Garden City Bearkats basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Reagan County Owls to 29 in the Bearkats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bearkats now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Bronte for a 1A Region II District 11 game on Tuesday, December 16. Garden City will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 37-24 non-league loss to Woodson (Woodson, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Reagan County falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Rankin (Rankin, TX) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league outing on Friday, December 12. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 1-3.
