North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy bested by John Paul II Catholic
December 11, 2025: Halifax, NC 27839 John Paul II Catholic Saints (Greenville, NC) backers went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overcome the host Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans (Halifax, NC), 56-39 in a non-league contest.
The Saints (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Calvary Day School was topped by Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC), 62-51, in a non-league match.
The Trojans now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Edgecombe for a non-league match on Friday, December 12. Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy will face a Warriors squad coming off a 74-54 non-league loss to Martin County (Williamston, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
