Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayo knocks off Waconia
December 11, 2025: Rochester, MN 55904 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Mayo Spartans basketball squad scored a nice 76-57 triumph over the Waconia Wildcats.
The Spartans (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Rockets go into the AAAA Section 1 contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, John Marshall was topped by Farmington (Farmington, MN), 72-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Waconia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 72-37 league loss to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
